Marion L. Quillman

	Marion L. 'Vern' Quillman, 72, Pinckneyville, passed away at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Mr. Quillman was a Service Manager for various auto dealers in the area and a Musician.  He was a member of Loyality Missionary Baptist Church in Eden.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
	He was born September 30, 1930 at Ava, the son of Raymond Quillman and Edna (Wrolen) Quillman.  He married Ruby Pearl Farris on June 18, 1951 at Steeleville.
	Surviving are his wife, Ruby Pearl Quillman of Pinckneyville; three children, Mickeal (wife Trienna) Quillman of Sikeston, Mo., Gary (wife Antoinette) Quillman of Pinckneyville and Robert Quillman of Sparta; two daughters-in-law, Cathy Quillman of Willisville and Cristine Quillman of Pinckneyville; one sister, Norma Richter of Centralia; two other brothers and one sister; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Jeffery Lynn Sr. and Dennis Ray Sr.
	Funeral services were Monday, November 25 at 1 p.m. at Loyality Missionary Baptist Church in Eden with Pastor Mickeal Quillman assisted by Pastor Tom Foster officiating.  Interment was in Bethel Cemetery at Swanwick.
	Friends called at Loyality Missionary Baptist Church in Eden from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 7:30 a.m. until the hour of service Monday.
	Memorials may be made to Loyality Missionary  Baptist Church.
	McDaniel Funeral Homes, Sparta, was in charge of arrangements.
